World Clean-up Day | Tackling Fly Ash Disposal Challenges, JoyFa Technology Supports Waste-Free Cities

This year's World Clean-Up Day is themed "From the Clean Your Plate Campaign to Cleaner Cities," with the concept of green waste reduction becoming increasingly ingrained in public consciousness. The Clean Your Plate Campaign reduces food waste at the source, effectively alleviating urban waste disposal pressure. However, even with universal adoption of waste reduction, cities still generate substantial household waste daily. While incineration for energy recovery achieves waste volume reduction and resource recycling, it also produces hazardous waste—incineration fly ash. Addressing this industry pain point, Suzhou JoyFa Environmental Technology Corp.Ltd. has specialized in fly ash treatment, leveraging mature core technologies and project implementation experience to deliver comprehensive fly ash resource utilization solutions.

Fly ash is a byproduct of domestic waste incineration, containing toxic substances such as heavy metals and dioxins, posing significant environmental risks. If not properly managed, it may lead to persistent ecological safety hazards.

Ecological governance, policy guidance. The "15th Five Year Plan for Solid Waste Pollution Prevention and Control" issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment has put forward clear requirements for the control of incineration fly ash pollution, guiding the treatment of solid waste from simple end of pipe disposal to reducing production and controlling hazards at the source, and pointing out the development direction for the safe utilization of fly ash resources in the industry.

In response to the industry pain points of high toxicity, high disposal costs, and prominent environmental risks caused by the presence of chlorine salts, heavy metals, and dioxins in garbage fly ash, JoyFa Technology has innovated the core process of fly ash water washing pretreatment+MVR evaporation crystallization+dioxin decomposition and disposal, and has independently designed a complete set of water washing system and evaporation salt separation system. On the premise of ensuring disposal stability and environmental standards, industrial salt is produced through resource utilization, with sodium chloride purity≥99%, potassium chloride purity≥96%, fly ash reduction rate of over 70%, heavy metal stabilization rate>99%, and dioxin decomposition removal rate≥99.9%. Truly achieving closed-loop disposal of fly ash reduction, harmlessness, and resource utilization.

At present, relevant process technologies have been implemented in multiple engineering projects such as Hongshi Group and are operating stably, forming replicable project practice samples. This plan can adapt to different scale disposal scenarios, facilitate regulatory implementation, balance solid waste disposal and resource recycling, and is in line with the development concept of a waste free city.

Clean ecology is the most universal welfare for people's livelihoods, and solid waste management is a key project for urban green upgrading.JoyFaTechnology always adheres to the development mission of "science and technology empower the ecology, technology protects the home", and continues to deeply cultivate the field of waste fly ash resource disposal. We will continue to share more MVR evaporation crystallization, fly ash resource disposal core processes, benchmark cases, and governance solutions in the future. Please stay tuned!
